BarCampICR was this weekend at the Vault Coworking space in Cedar Rapids. Met a lot of great people doing some really great things in the area.

I also saw a great talk on a style of photography being practiced locally called Beloved.

Another great discussion was about starting a local hackerspace and Coder Dojo to teach kids software and hardware hacking.

Finally, I got to see a great talk on rural economic development and how we need new business models to connect latent resources hiding in our small communities.
